Joe Fortes Seafood and Chop House

Ambiance: Intimate, upscale, and rustic

Seating/Wait time: Reservations recommended.  A lot of tourists and walk by traffic.  If you plan on putting your name on the list, expect to wait at least 1 hour or 2 during dinner service.

Dress Code: Dressy Casual, don't dress like a slouch, make an effort.

Crowd: Upper Middle Class

Meal:
2 of each of the Oysters they had available
Kumamoto Olympic Penninsula, WA. $3.60 (this was the best one!)

ADVICE: They have more choices that are not on the menu.   Don't get the large ones.  Ask them for the sweeter ones mid-size ones, then spend your money on those!

Personal Remarks:  I've been here on multiple occasions.  Service is very inconsistent, sometimes the service is good the other times they are bad.  It's never great.  The reason I usually eat here is because of friends birthday's or to satisfy an oyster craving.

I recommend just coming here for the bread and oysters.  Your tab will end up totalling around $50.00 but you are able to each one of each oyster in season and enjoy an alcoholic beverage.

I did the above and ordered a second round of the better tasting oysters.  They don't do a great job cleaning the oysters so expect some to be sandy.

It's common to see everyone ordering the Seafood Tower on Ice and it will make you want to order it too.  I did and I thought it was just mediocre.

You should share this with friends because for one person it's very expensive.  They only give you 2 of each piece, so you're going to have to cut it into pieces or just be generous and try it next time.

For $58.00 you do feel a bit ripped off but when you share with friends it's not that bad.

The restaurant is not great, but you should definitely try it at least once.
