This is the place to go if you're looking for the real deal flavorful Vietnamese mamma cooked meal! There are only a couple of restaurants that serve this Shredded Crab meat and Shrimp Noodle Soup.
To describe this dish, it's not in the normal boiled water and oil chicken broth, it's in a tasty tomato based broth. This broth is extremely rich and flavorful and trumps that normal water and oil chicken broth. The other aspect is the Crab meat.
When my mom makes this at home she slaves over taking out the crab meat from the shell. This is extremely time consuming and you cannot substitute real crab meat with imitation crab meat because every mamma wants the best for their growing kids. And it's not the same! Here they actually use real crab meat, the way it should be and this is what makes it so good.
The foodie experience is not just the food but also the service. They could some improvements in this area which is why it's not a perfect 5. You can always tip a bit less for the service, but the food is definitely worth eating here. Trust me, come here for the Shredded Crab meat and Noodle Soup!
